Yes, you can switch any time before you pick up your packet.

Yes. We are on a schedule with the police, city, and our volunteers, and we will open up streets and close down aid stations according to the schedule. MAP
Yes! Anyone can pick up your packet. All they need is your name and a copy of your confirmation email.
Our course is a flat track on Wisconsin's beautiful Drumlin Trail.

Yes! There will be portable toilets available at the Start and Finish lines, as well as at the aid stations along the way.

Yes, dogs are allowed on the sidelines, accompanied by a human minder. They are not permitted on the race course, however, unless they are registered service animals. Also, please be aware that all animals must be leashed at all times.
Yes. We will have police and course marshals stationed throughout the course to keep it car-free and keep everyone safe. Please note, however, that the course does go through some residential neighborhoods, and as much as we will try, it is impossible to keep everyone from accessing their driveways/home streets. We alert all residents well ahead of time, but please be alert, just in case.
We will have aid stations set up about every three miles. Each station will have water, sports drinks, portable toilets, medical staff, and volunteer staff.
There will also be trash cans near the aid stations. Please use them! We would like to keep the course and Drumlin Tail clean and the residents will appreciate it.
We will have pace teams for the Half and Full Marathon to help keep you reach your goal time.
Yes, participants are allowed to wear headphones, however, it's recommended that the volume level is kept low, so as to hear any instructions by race officials, or anything else that may be happening around you.
About an hour beforehand is a good rule of thumb. This gives you plenty of time to find parking, get to the race site, stretch and warm-up, check your gear, use the portable toilets, take pictures, and get to the starting line.
Refunds are not permitted for any reason. The Event will be held unless severe weather occurs. In the event of severe weather, The Race Director may cancel or delay the event. If the Event is canceled, there will be no refunds. We do try to accommodate all our runners, and we understand that situations arise that you have no control over that will cause you to miss the race. We will allow you to transfer your bib to another runner.
Yes! Awards for the top female and male finishers in each age group will be presented as soon as possible after the race ends.
Also, EVERY participant will receive a medallion!*
*Medallions must be picked up at the end of the race - The New Berlin Marathon is not responsible for lost or stolen medallions.
